i leave for basic soon
my life so far has been an adventure
friends i have made
friends i have lost
to the times we shared
the memories we've made
the tears we've cried
the sleepovers
the long talks
i'm going to miss it all
we graduate in less than a month
then i leave for basic and i don't know if ill be back
i might go active duty to serve my country
i will miss you the most
you have been a friend, a sister, heck your my wife
i hate to say goodbye to you but you have to live your life too
ill keep in touch and call whenever i can
just remember our plan
keep all our memories safe and sound
make more as i leave to pursue my dreams
i'll miss you wife of mine
but ill be back to hug you again some time
