All These Lies Poem by Helena Alvarez

All These Lies

Black rain
Black eyes
Black heart
Black cries

Raindrops
Fall upon
This shallow world
These shallow dreams
Mean nothing to me
Nothing to you

I kneel besides my bed at night
And ask if he could hear me
No reply
Its all a lie

He’s not real
Nor fake
And un-existed myth
Just like everything else
All these lies
Is the purpose for all my cries

They are lies if you believe them and truths if you expose them.
