Invisible Poem by Helena Alvarez

Invisible

Rating: 4.0

I walk into the room
But no ones looking
Like im not even there
But I am
I wish that they could understand
How they make me feel
Invisible
I look into the mirror
I see nothing
Nothing
Theres no me
How did this happen
How can this be
I’ll kill to be anyone
Anyone but me

Existence is by recognition…recognition by others. Every one exists invisible to self… looking out for self frequently into the mirror of false hood… A beautiful poem pointing out to a stalk naked truth...that too from a thirteen year old! The child was to say ‘oh! the king is naked! ’ Wasn’t it?
