One Lord, Allah
Abdul Wahab

The Maker of both worlds and more,
One Lord, Allah is He;
In this life, brother, I won't forget
My Lord, not ever shall it be.
Allah is Owner, Lord of all,
Almighty, Strong, Supreme;
Of skies and earth and everything,
The Wise Creator of the dream.
Life and death, and wealth, and fate,
All rest within His hand;
All of creation turns to Him
In gratitude they stand.
Allah gives laws for every path,
The Qur'an holds His word;
In every step of living, I
Obey His command, my Lord.
In His words lies every good
For those who live and see;
Those people are the best of all
Among all of creation's plea.
