Almost Poem by Anthony Joseph Erangey

Almost

Rating: 4.5

From a hazy, distant view,
out of many, a selected few.
I see laughing faces, almost.

Fragrant aromas, incarnate anew,
flow rhythmically, fro and to.
She is setting places, almost.

A capella baritones, words of truth,
angelically sung, powerful, youth.
He transcends stasis, almost.

Midnight debates, any topic you choose,
Most intense beliefs, everything to loose.
One must triumph, victory braces. almost

All of these images reflect their own hue.
My family memories, once radiant, now blue.
Mother, father, and all your graces. almost.

I miss you.
