Have you ever felt truly alone?
Well, I do right now
Just lost in my own song
Not knowing anything, anymore
I am a lonely magpie
Picking jewels from others' nests
Not happy 'til I find the one
The one that pulls me, draws me
Where do I fly from here
Is it with you, if you want me to?
Is it with another, being unfulfilled
Or can i wait for you upon a moment?
But how long can I wait for you?
To really tell me what you need
What you feel, what is right
Stop playing with me, stop right now!
You have me, you know it's true
I am flying, and magically dying
then my soul is spilled, I know you hurt
I know how much you've endured
I know... but you push me
Push me away, when I know you don't want to
Against the bars of life
The chain, the pain, the hell
But I still love you
Very heartfelt and sincere poem here. The line 'lost in my own song' is provocative-though we want to share our song with others, it does not always turn out that way, and if so, rarely does it last a life time. In the meantime, it's nice to have poetry through which we can share our own song. Good work.
I understand what you mean by this. Men are such rats especially where the heart is fragile.
