Alone - Poem by Padmore Enyonam Agbemabiese

broken, shattered
tattered, torn and left dead
it’s like a lone star hanging
I know not who I am
just a river of tears

do I have a name, a face
than a river of tears

I look back and wonder
and there’s nothing worth knowing
except the field of pain
