Alone And Dreaming Poem by Moth Harris

Alone And Dreaming

Where to start? It's where it ends.
The love, the lives and all the friends.
To pretend it's the message I want to send.
Could you actually blame me for all of this?

I've been talking to god and now I know.
What was meant to be, it wasn't me.
To believe anything else would decieve.
Do you think she would blame herself?

Honestly, dishonesty gets the best of me and you.
This could be a lie or this could be true.
If you knew half of what I do, you could have made it through.
Will I be remembered for who I was or who I was trying to be?

If you thought life was all fun and games,
remember my name, I'm the moth in the flame,
With my wishes and dreams,
Will they all burn and turn to ash?
So it seems.
