Alone We Have Come Poem by Mohammad Younus

Alone We Have Come

Rating: 5.0

Alone we have come,
And alone we will go
We are all alone in life,
But let us live with a heart,
That glows with light;
In a world that is cold and dark,
Let us be benevolent to all,
Without expecting a recompense at all;
Let us be forgiving,
And follow the path of mercy,
Even when evil people make us
suffer their wrath;
Let us not stoop low to their level,
And seek vengeance;
Our Lord wants us to make,
The world a better place to live for all,
Without any distinction between,
Race, colour, and religion;
Our heart must not ache with anger,
When people are mean with us;
In this testing time of our patience,
We must stay calm and serene,
And not let the Satan come over us;
We must eschew ferocity and violence,
And exhibit forbearance and tolerance;
In a world where wicked people
rule the roost,
We must seek for virtues,
And not be after searching in others,
Faults, vice, and evil;
Our Lord always wants us to believe,
In love and peace,
Such that we make our big dreams,
come true,
And cope with adverse situation,
When our adversaries are bent upon,
To make us suffer a lot;
Our Lord wishes us to make the world,
Gentle, peaceful, and spritual,
Where lovers enjoy,
The chime of divine bells;
But do not be cowed down by those,
Who mock at you, and laugh,
At your godly ways;
With your divine eyes,
See good in everyone always;
Our Lord wants us to love,
Even those who do us wrong;
It is an irrefutable reality:
Love can make us friends to all.
