People have gotten so
caught up..
in their lives
they have no time
to worry
to watch
to see the pain of others

We seem to look over
the hurting people
the people that we think we are better then

Do you have no compassion
to the children who we make sure to stay away from because
we can smell their unpleasant scent
the scent of poverty.

As Americans we have been called the land of the free
so why not use our freedom
to love
to speak for the ones who have no voices
to help the ones who's needs are greater then ours
let us all join hands and come together to make a change
let us show others that we care
and let them know that we will always be there...
