Always Dreaming Poem by Kameron Dodson

Always Dreaming

Rating: 5.0

Sleeping like a cloud,
Barking up a storm,
Yelping if danger comes,
Drinking Day and night,
Saying "I Love You" in their eyes,
Always cuddling up in a ball,
Waiting for us to come home,
Barking at the door,
Soon the day will come,
When barking is no more,
And they never wake up,
Nothing left to love,
No more waiting,
No more love when you get home,
You can't forget.

Dogs are great, aren't they? You can tell their love is real. They never fake it. Very nice poem, Kameron. This appears to be the first poem that you have posted on this site, so welcome to Poem Hunter!
