Always Never Lasts Poem by Aurora Ulch

Always Never Lasts

Not a mistake, like so many times before
But who can take the blame
When love is all we're living for
Those old rutine patterns
That caused tear after tear
Breaking my heart for days that seemed like years
Your cutting down those chains
That kept me tied down here
Your running with a cape
A hero to my escape
Falling a little to hard and fast
Trying to remember always never lasts
Afraid of fate and a deathly travel
Like jumping off a mountain of gravel
The welcome sign to my heart I put away
But destiny still brought you through this closed door way
