Always Remember Poem by Randy McClave

Let's remember and always recall
On January the 6th,
When the republicans wanted our country to fall
An insurrection was created by lies and a myth.
He screamed, "They cheated and I really won"
As he proclaimed it boldly and loud,
Then the hate and the riots begun
As he enticed his followers in the crowd.
He screamed that the election was stolen
He tried to pressure Pence to throw out the results,
Because his pride was corrupted and swollen
But, "No! ", said Pence as he proclaimed it to the MAGA cults.
The mobs then stormed the capitol
MAGA's carrying weapons with their face painted,
They were all hellbent and they were radical
Their beliefs and actions were all tainted.

Let's remember, always remember the 6th of January
When the MAGA mob attacked and killed,
When their leader who they worshipped lost the primary
They then ignored laws, with lies and hate they were filled.
They burned and they also destroyed
Pence they then wanted to hang,
With rebellion and hate they were overjoyed
As the American anthem they hummed and sang.
Inside their souls and thoughts was pure evil
Brought on by a man who walks hand in hand with sin,
Because of him he brought forth all upheaval
And he will do it smilingly again and again.
Four people died that day
And five others died days, weeks and even months later,
For them their family and patriots do solemnly pray
They died because of the lies and conceit of a wannabe dictator.

Let's remember, and not forget about January 6th 2021
When a insurrection and death was caused by the lies of a con.
