Boxer's Chess Poem by Randy McClave

Boxer's Chess

Rating: 4.5

I am no man's rook
I go wherever that I look,
No one controls my every move
What I do, only I approve.

I am not no ones bishop
Nor am I, or will I ever be a kiss up,
The strategic moves that I make
They are mine to lose, or win and take.

I am no person's queen
I am more powerful, and absolute and mean,
And when a confrontation ever exists
I have my own 2 fists.

Life is but a game of chess
Only myself do I ever need to impress,
I am a king, and will not ever be a pawn
So, I lace my boxing gloves on.

Great words you speak. Also good to know just who you are and what you stand for.
