Am I living a lie
‘Cause what I feel deep inside
Doesn’t feel like what loves supposed to be

I feel I struggle and try
Walk with faith and with pride
But it doesn’t feel like loves come close to me

In the game of love
You may slip or fall
But you can’t hold back
You must give your all

On that one perfect day
When you least expect it
Love will walk in
And you’ll be infected

Because no one’s immuned
To the throw’s of love
Like a rose in bloom
Or a lily-white dove

You can’t cage it
Or keep it beyond its time
It must be freely given
From your heart to mine

Am I living a lie

Doesn’t feel like what loves supposed to be

It seems like time after time
Love may never be mine
I feel like love won’t ever take a hold of me

Although I wish and I pray
Day after sunshine filled day
Love won’t walk my way
No matter how hard I pray
