Amanda Poem by William F. De Paula

Amanda

Even when friendship appeared to be gone
and loneliness was all left,
none of the things that I've done
made me deserve the one i met.

From far beyond the atlantic
with eyes as blue as the sky
and the most wonderful smile,
someone i can tell no lies.

She made me blind for a moment,
completely lost inside
and this feeling that was dorment
didnt want to stay hide.

A feeling that wasn't share,
brought me only pain.
i tried to pretend, i didnt care
but it was impossible to restrain.

Move on is all i can do now
with this scar, thats still sore
but i hope is gonna heal, Somehow.
