American Man

American Man
I am hated.
I am feared.
I am ridiculed.
I am ostracized.
I am poor.
I am broken.
I am lazy.
I am shunned.
I am tired.
I am weak.
I am a loser.
I am all of these things
in the eyes of the world.
I am a black man.
I am an American!
