You And Me Poem by Quinton Scott

You And Me

Rating: 5.0

You tell of my shortcomings.
But, I speak of your accomplishments.
You hold me hostage.
But, I set you free.
You tear me down.
But, I lift you up.
You wish hell on me.
But, I wish heaven for you.
You try to make me sad.
But, I try to make you happy.
You talk about me.
But, I pray for you.
You hate me.
But, I love you.
You've done all of these things to me.
But, I've done nothing to you.
So, what am I to you;
someone to talk about,
or no one to think about?
You tell me!
