Amity Seed - Poem by william Dadeah Jr.

I sowed one but many seeds for friendship
Gradually, they all grew up easily and well
But to understand the world more and tell
The diversity of their tongues and hardship
I nursed them separately with various distinctions
Whether I knew or saw their actions
It was for the earth, sun, water, and air
To show that they too care
For good friends who share
Pure fruits of amity seed
That one not two fruits is held first to feed
Before the rest is in great need…
