Amnesia Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Amnesia

Dunno when I came here
Worth to ignore that.
And why? No reason for..
And now after quite long
the place, people and shadows
-both Black and White and
coloured, looked strange..
Doctor was good.
He tried to be humorous
to make me feel good.
'I too keep forgetting...'
he said with smile.
He muttered to the people
accompanied me without smile.
All too boring but the
frame on the wall I liked
It was a beautiful girl in
White frock holding
a bunch of lilies
'Doctor, I feel good,
relaxed when I don't
remember anything'
'After eating you wash
your hands? '
'Ya- '
'Then you're a nice man! '
'Doctor, that's a lovely frame! '
'-Oh, that? You remember then? '
I was puzzled but the Doctor
laughed and laughed...
