Stranded in a labyrinth of world
To raise heart with wonders high, a child craves,
With a heart hopeful and bold,
In the world he's denied knowledge out of enclaves.
In the wasteland fading its vigor fast,
Laid waste by ravages, at the brink of last,
To be delighted, dreaming a future he strives,
Strolling in the grim avenue of life,
In the shadows of concrete jungle divested of light.
Lanes are dark, even his house's unsafe,
Where is a place he's to uncover with no horror?
A place that all is perfect with no fright and terror,
A garden of quiet— to think, learn and experience?
With wonders and a heart hopeful, rejoicing among friends.
