An Act Of God (1995r) Poem by Patrick Wescott

An Act Of God (1995r)

Rating: 1.7

Satan is selling us cookies
and sending us to the moon.
Don't tell me about religion
it isn't in my subscription.

You talk of borrowed symbols
and the evil they represent?
Better give up your crosses
and maybe Christmas you hipocrites.

You're preaching stories
written after the fact.
I do believe you lost
something in the translation.

Don't tell me of your god,
He's too commercial for me.
