An Addicts Cry For Help! - Poem by nicole monroe

So young as an adolescent yet full of resentment from loosing all her innocense to a game of false pre tense being lied to and convinced there was nothing wrong with it. A life full of confusion of an illusion of what love should mean and all the pain inside remained unseen until the age of a teen. The day her and the drugs met was a day she could never forget it was to late for regret. She immediatley fell in love with the high all her feelings of guilt and shame were lost inside the only thing that controlled her mind was the next time she could find the next drink pill smoke or line she was completley blind to all the warning sighns. Addiction made every choice from that day on every chance of growing up was gone it was a wicked bond that was to strong. The deeper the addiction the more confliction engaged into total conviction of her soul continuing to fill that empty hole and spinning out of control. When she couldnt take any more she hit the floor and cried for someone to end her life she had nothing left to fight and she had only death in site and her fate changed that night. She chose life!
