An aeroplane takes off Poem by Kobus Moolman

An aeroplane takes off

Rating: 3.0

An aeroplane takes off
from the edge of his sleep.

His phone is off
because the battery is flat.

Inside his head
where his memories should be

a submarine sinks.
Then a polystyrene moon

rises over the rim of the apartments
surrounded by semen.
