An Affair - Poem by Juan Olivarez

That look in your eyes,
There's no way to deny.
And you can't disguise,
That long drawn out sigh.

I feel the same way,
And it would be a shame.
To stay far away,
And just pass the blame.

No matter who cries,
I can't stay far away.
I get lost in your eyes,
And my resolve melts away.
