An Angel From Above Poem by J.J B. Torment

An Angel From Above

You must have came down from your rightful place, from heavens paradise,
down to this earth with a heart and soul as transparent as ice.
So clear, so pure, untouched and unblemished, natural as can be.
But why, I say, an angel like you why, there, did you ever leave.

God must have made his only mistake to let you go for someone like me.
For you are so much more, more then I know I will ever be able to be,
To leave your rightful place in heaven and give up all of your rights,
to live a life with me, so ordinary and plane, all your days and nights.

With me you endured some heartache and pain, some arguments and fights.
Things you shouldn’t have ever had to deal with, like more darkness then more light.
I don’t know why you made that decision, its hard for me to even conceive.
All I know is, I AM TRULY BLESSED, blessed that you’re here.….here with me.

I know I don’t show it most of the time, in fact the complete opposite sometimes you see,
but no matter whatever happens in our life, know YOU’RE the only one I really need.
Without you, I’m nothing, just an empty vessel, that would be my lifes’ plight.
But with you and because of you in my life, I am able to reach the highest of hights.

I LOVE YOU. Thank you for being with me.
