An Angel In The Midst Poem by Jason Summers

An Angel In The Midst

Rating: 2.1

Too many days we spend waiting for that day
When will we have our troubles taken away?
We smile in sympathy for the happiness of others
And then we shy away reluctant to discover.
Trying not to feel sorry for the pity in our hearts
We lie in bed slowly falling apart.
But our doubts are met with the hope each day brings
The excitement makes us curious for what we do not see.
So open your heart and mind to help your spirit lift,
Because who knows when you might have an Angel in the midst.
