An Angel With A Tail - Poem by Iselin Steinsto

You are to me
an Angel with a tail
and I know I'm not mental
'cause your name ain't Gail.

You wake me up
in the middle of the night
And you know I'll be mad
so I don't give you a fright

You're spilling milk
all over my sofa
and you know you're not allowed
but that don't stop you

You drive me crazy
from time to time
and that's Okey
it's not always easy to rhyme

You give me joy
you give me hope
And it's no secret that
you sometimes spill your soup

You never listen to me
sometimes you are messy and mean
But I love you with all my heart
and we, my daughter, will never be apart

You are my inspiration
you are my life
Nothing can take your place in my heart
not even me becoming someones wife.
