An Antiquated Tree Poem by Emily Dickinson

An Antiquated Tree

Is cherished of the Crow
Because that Junior Foliage is disrespectful now
To venerable Birds
Whose Corporation Coat
Would decorate Oblivion's
Remotest Consulate.
