An Appeal Poem by S Ovwata Onojieruo

An Appeal

Soon enough we'll be there my friend
watching rulers, kings ' even fiends
great men seeking ' our views 'out end
potentates leading in such trends
soon enough we'll lead little ones
through the same streets they said were ' gods
in flesh, blood and with nomore bans
holding hands with the divine Lords
but if you see we run too fast
and our own shadows gets ill cast
but if you feel we give no room
for pleasures fun and ceaseless bloom
dont weep for now we pay the price
that soon would take us on the rise
dont fret for now we learn the truth
that someday would form our own roots.
