An Appeal of A Street Dog
Pravat Kumar Mandal

I'm a street dog thin and little
Neglected and despicable.

O naughty boys, don't throw the stones
That hurt me hard and break my bones.

For a long time I haven't been fed
So, I'm too weak to raise my head.

Unkindly I'm kicked and beaten.
I have to sleep in the open.

So many stains on my body
Make me morbid, glum and moody.

I am traumatised with your tease.
I want to live, let me live please.

Keep away from Dillip Swain as he has disgraced all the Indian poets by attacking others.

Very touchy appeal. Animal cruelty is unfair...10. Please kindly check my poems HOPE and THE BEAUTY OF DEATH and leave your comments and rating.
