Received a call from a friend in Cali today,
An incident not to his liking went astray,
The bible mentions confrontation with the law,
Book of Romans, tells it all.

For every situation in the universe,
There’s a book, chapter or verse,
The bible covers everything,
Any encounter will bring.

Is it tough to eat crow?
Try not to look at it like that,
We’ve all been there before you know,
Jesus will always have your back.

Seeking God in every situation,
Be it real or your imagination,
He’s the Doctor that has never lost a case,
A Chef whose cuisine is pleasing to taste.

A job situation you know not to be fair,
It may not seem like it but He is there,
You’re not doing it for any of them,
Complete the assignment just for Him.

Set you sights on the Kingdom of Christ,
That is why you’re doing it right,
The Son of Man came and the bar was raised,
Make time to honor and give Him praise.

A storm, a test, whatever the call,
Many are waiting for you to fall,
Whom are you going to do your best to please?
How about the One who calms the breeze.

Welcome the waves that come to your life,
For this is the time to magnify Christ,
Whenever you feel like you’re being cheated,
Repeat the following phrase “Satan, you’re defeated”.

Believe it really is as simple as that,
Don’t forget in Jesus, God sent His best,
Knowing there will never be an excuse,
You will pass every kind of test.
