An End Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

An End

An end

Oh mother, please do not wipe my tears,
Let them pour on your wounded skin,
Your belly's skin that was peeled by bellies,
Of your rapist…

Please, please, please
Do not stop me,
Do not comfort me,
Enough of forgiveness,
No more compassion…

Give me a knife
Give me a sword, a dagger
And help me to slit
The bellies that enjoyed yours
For their own lust and desire…

Please whisper in my ear:
"I hate them too…
I hate these rapists…"
Please, please, please…

Please do not tell me:
"They are my children too."

We know they are from rape
We know they are bastards…

Please, please, please…
Destroy such siblings of mine!

Time has come for a disaster,
For a quake with thunder
For killing waves of worms, locust, water…

Mom, enough is enough,
Take them, kill them…
Let them be "None! "

Or let me do so… If not,
Take me…I want an end…
