An Endless Journey
AN ENDLESS JOURNEY
We sought man in God,
God in man
and missed both.
We sought light in darkness,
darkness in light
and were always blind.
We saw plenty in nothing,
nothing in plenty
and were always poor.
We spun truths out of lies,
lies out of truths
and were lost in half truths.
We sought happiness,
we sought perfection;
What we got were mirages
and an endless journey
