An Ex's Revenge Poem by Jamison Williams

An Ex's Revenge

They told me to watch myself
And I didn't know what they meant
But now that I have seen your eyes
I understand what they said

You made me smile
When I had a bad day
I remembered your laugh
And it sent my fears away

My heart grew heavy
With the weight that you bring
But you make me so happy
That I just wanted to sing

You told me you loved me
And held my hand firm
But I saw you that night
When you were kissing her

And when you found out
What did you do?
You grabbed a big knife
And ran me right through

You've broken my heart
Now watch for my fist
Because of your actions
I am thoroughly pissed

When your with her
Just remember my name
And know when youre alone
You're playing my game

For just in the shadows
There I will lurk
Ill sneak right up to you
And wipe of your smirk

You denied me my life
And now you'll deal with me
Im not going to leave you
Until your in misery

For no one will believe
That your dead ex is here
They disowned you as a friend
Because im not real

Ill drag you to hell
For what you did to me
Ill even bring down
Your stupid bride to be

Im full of revenge
And I won't do it lightly
Ill go my own pace
And kill you so slyly
