Daddy O' I Love Him Poem by Jamison Williams

Daddy O' I Love Him

Daddy-O, be patient
You will always be in my heart.
Daddy-O, be patient,
though we may be apart.

I may be gone from your home,
But I am safe with him.
My soul has grown because of you,
Please don't keep your face grim.

Mamma please listens to me
I truly love him so.
He asked me to marry him
I said yes,
So I must go.

My sugar sweet, my honey baby,
With your golden hands,
A glow is lighted,
Your voice like honey,
Your eyes spotlighted.
I go with you to the future land.
Daddy-O, be patient.
