An Honest Person Poem by Abdul Wahab (Bangladeshi)

An Honest Person

An Honest Person
Abdul Wahab

That person is honest, who aligns with truth,
Seeks no other way except the path of truth.
Sees injustice and always speaks what's right,
Never clings to lies, deceit, or rumors' bite.
Faith and justice make him pure like gold,
He stands for truth and right—so brave, so bold.
Admits his faults—humility's his way,
No greed, no envy, no backbiting sway.
Stands beside the sorrowful, lends a hand,
In honest hearts, peace and confidence stand.
People of this world will always love,
Such a person earns trust from all above.
