All of a sudden
The Republican party
Became the most dangerous
Organisation in world history
A cabinet right from Dante's Hell at its helm.

Climate change denial, secret nuclear code
Controlled by a temper-tantrum president
USA's dedicated to racing as rapidly
As possible to destroying organised
Human life-there's no historical precedent.

Dark is the night-Trump's shock victory
Energised Neo-Nazis globally, the outlook on
Turbulence & instability the future will hold
After Trump's ascendency to power is
Rather bleak indeed.

The ignorant Trump's known to be an
Off-the-spectrum showman, unlike any
Other candidate to run the country, a man whose
Most predictable attribute is his unpredictability
Potentially destroying risk-weighted value.

Mr Trump has no clearly identified positions
Other than his plans to strengthen the military
Any stated positions he does give are often
Subject to sudden and erratic about-turns
The People voted for a DSM-5 personality disorder.

Weimar Germany, anticipating Word War II
Far less dangerous, Hitler was a sincere
Dedicated ideologue, Trump isn't, he's the
Narcissist-in-chief with no known ideology
Other than 'me'.

Compulsive emperor Nero dipped captured Christians
In oil and set Saints on fire in his garden at night as inexpensive
Source of light, In 64 AD, Washington DC was destroyed in the
Great Fire of Rome, Nero himself started the fire; the beginning
Of the fall of the American Empire-the seeds of World War III sown.
