An Imperfect Me Poem by Thati pramod sai

An Imperfect Me

Everytime you stare at me
With a complaint I become embarrassed
Not out of frustration
But out of confusion
For to be born as it is
Is not my mistake
For heaven's sake
Nothing is at stake
Except when I'm with you
I'm reminded of all that's not me
Hopelessly feeling irritated
Unable to state suffocated
Not all eyes see are true
Like the sky you see as blue
I can't be everytime new
This is all me as I knew
Beauty is not in looks, see
But in the heart in thee
The reason you can't leave me is
Of few unconditional, I'm your ease
I can't wipe you away
Whatever you do on my way
Sometimes it hurts
As bad as it bursts
But I just see you as I see you
To accept you wholeheartedly
As I'm the embodiment of imperfect me...
