An Impossible Love. Poem by Pradeep Uthaman

An Impossible Love.

Rating: 5.0

Her fragrance is enticing,
And her beauty is irresistible.
Though the longing is to be together,
It is an impossible desire that will never be realized.

Her grace is as radiant as the sun,
And the color is so vibrant that can't let go.
Though I aspire to capture her paints,
I'll never be able to do it in my canvas.

We existed in parallel spaces,
And our paths persist to cross,  breaking the laws.
Though we knew it's an impossible love,
We made memories that no one could ever dream.

We played the rhythm of life together,
And we enjoyed it in the shell of our solitude.
Though our love spread like a perfume around the world,
We spelled our wizardry to remain invisible.

It's all about you in those ever-cherished moments,
And your whispers, stories, tears, love, care and sigh.
Though this love is fervid still brittle,
I wish it could stay with me forever.

Helpless, I'm watching her fading away,  And she vanishes into the rusty red storm.
Though I hope I could wrap her around so wouldn't lose,
But I knew It's an impossible love that would never be fulfilled.

An Impossible Love.
