An Inevitable Reunion Poem by adam quinones

An Inevitable Reunion

The time I will wait to with you, be reunited,
Only adds to all the moments I have waited, so excited!
Knowing the passion for one another will be instantaneously ignited!
At the moment when my eyes and yours are united!

It’s been so long that you and I have been afar,
Yet to us we are, the only ones there are!
And though feeling so close to you is bizarre
Giving the simple fact that, we have been so far.
I still feel as though I’ve been with you as if I was the moon and you the stars!

With you I hope to spend this year anew,
And lay out a future for us of two.
For you are the one I shall pursue.
When given the chance to be with you
A life full of love, I will bring us to.
Darling, I truly miss you, i do, i do.
With this said, I bide you, adieu!

You are definitely laying your heart out on paper. A little tweaking will go a long way. You'll need a little editing on this one. 'I will wait to with you' just isn't English. Maybe 'I will wait to be with you, reunited.' You've got some other areas you need some grammar help. Your efforts to rhyme force you to make some awkward word choices. You could use a little more imagery. Too much telling us how you feel and not enough showing us what it's like to feel that way.
