Left With Only Questions



She looked into his eye as though he wasn’t there
She walked away as if he wasn’t in front of her
Was he that blank of a slate he didn’t deserve a stare?
To her eyes he was nothing more than a blur...

Far from what one would expect,
His night of happiness ended in a wreck..
Walking away with a million questions of despair,
Left with nothing but hurt on himself to wear..

What did he do so wrong to get there?
What should one do to get pass this hurtful affair? ?
Yet from day one he should have planned
For the game to play unfairly manned.

He was left with nothing more than his graceful prayer!
For maybe she was mistaken in her unknowing stair?
Or maybe she misinterpreted his willful care!
Either way he was left with only the option to repair,
His shattered heart and find a new girl, a rare...
