It's already mid October,
Can't you hear those acorns pounding on the roof?
Can't you feel the temperature changing like a seesaw?
Can't you see summer is now definatly over?
Sweatshirts are loosely warn,
You get to do those fall chores,
You get to rake those falling leaves,
And pick up those annoying acorns.
Time is passing by so fast,
Halloween decor is everywhere,
Those colorful leaves just shower down,
Come on lets find an October fest!
It's time to welcome the season in full swing,
A Nor'easter surprised everybody,
And another one is kind of near,
Those big storms bully the land in a fling.
Well the colorful sunrise awoke the day,
With a white blanket of frost on the land,
My dining news is always about the weather.
Come on lets see what comes this way?
I turned the radio on for a moment,
There was a melody playing a spooky song,
It was creepy, weepy, boo hooing insane,
The sounds creeped through my bones for a second.
The date read October 30, Oh! its Mischief night,
Those ghosts would be up to there messy pranks,
The day crept to a slow end,
Outside my window, an old moon glowed in sight.
I opened the front door to check all is right,
It was quiet like usual,
Good night, you spooky ghosts and goblins,
The Neon moon disappeared for the night.
Tomorrow would be Halloween
Those tricker treats would be passing by
Would it be a trick or treat?
Or just another Halloween.
Goodnight goodnight
Its just another Halloween
