Sunshine, moonlight,
stars and rainbows
Remind me of you
Maybe even a unicorn or two

So many seek you
But too few have found you
Do I seek you in vain
Alas, I am powerless in your hold

Once I thought I had you
But it was a mere shadow
Stop playing peekaboo
Do not run O elusive one

You will not come when bid
Not even when I need you
You seem to be within grasp
Yet you slip away yet again

You promise eternal happiness
But you remain silent
About the pain and anguish
That you bring to many

O why do you evade me so
Come into my embrace
And let me be lulled
Into eternal sweet oblivion
