An Old Mans Eyes. Poem by jo black

An Old Mans Eyes.

The centre of town in the hours of night,
Lads strutting round in T-shirt's too tight,
Girls walking round in clothes that aren't right,
Parading round peacocks without flight.

The centre of town when sky is dark,
A powder keg of explosive awaiting a spark,
A bomb ready to go at the smallest thing,
The explosion so loud would make ears ring.

The centre of town no stars in the sky,
I'm afraid for humanity they don't see why,
Why there's no care, no kindness nor smile,
Just nasty stares at through eyes with vile.

The centre of town when the club doors are open,
Society is doomed to moves on only broken,
What the hell are we to do,
The souls easy to see through,
They're personalities shallow, deep as a puddle,
Please Lord help the world needs a cuddle.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
OK....this is to me my favourite 'poem' I have no idea what genre it is, but as I saw it through my own eyes I've chosen the 'bio' genre, please correct me as I'm sure this isn't correct. It was written after I'd been out walking on a late sleepless night through the town where I live. I wrote it with the feeling that things where different 'in my day', but that maybe just old age talking.
