We count the seconds
Where once the hours weren't enough
Silence now forces us too speak
Where once words were to much
Love, do you remember
How we used to sit
And exchange myths about the stars
(Do you remember?)
You were a warrior
And I a maiden
And we chased the sun across the sky
Into the sea
Now, I watch helplessly
As those selfsame stars
Tumble from your eyes
And where once I was a Queen
I am now just another woman
No different from the ones that came before
Or from those that will come after.

I would like to translate this poem
G'day Vaun, Your poetic voice doesn't sound like a 22 year old - there is so much pain and love experienced... I like both of these poems... thank you. More please.
