An Orphan's Voice Poem by Tanyee Kadambari

An Orphan's Voice

You say I am with you,
But I find myself alone in the queue.
Everyone shows me sympathy,
I don't need that, but search for empathy.
All thinks that I am not that prime,
I ask not for money but for few seconds of your time.
I just want to share my lonely story,
About a child whose life is not less than a fury.
I know that one day my voice will reach someone's ear,
And soon I will become someone's lovable & dear.
I know today's world is deaf,
But still waiting with hope for some eternal soul's help.

Such a poignant write Tanyee. There are so many major things that need correcting. We share the planet but not always the care.
