An Undying Memory Poem by jaded dreamer anna adkins

An Undying Memory

Rating: 5.0

All I Want to do is see your face
To reach for your soul
To come take me out of this place.

My wounded heart is broken
I'm all alone and I can't see
I'm left with this frozen image,
A piece of you.
An undying memory.

Short and simple, this is an excellent piece of poetry! 10/10. 'I'm left with this frozen image, A piece of you. An undying memory.' So deep and so ardent, as if coming from a lonesome dove! Looking forward to reading more of your poems in this forum.
