'An Unexpected Death' Poem by Brytanne Lee

'An Unexpected Death'

I cut myself again
It didn't hurt this time
It was deeper then ever before
I lied down on the bed, waiting for you call
To ask me if Im alright
I miss the way you felt and smelled
I miss the feeling of you so close to me
You are my drug, Im so addicted
The blood is getting on the sheets now
Im fading to black
Falling into my pitch black heart
Why is life like this?
Why can't we be together?
I see the light everyone talks about
Taking me in
Faster
Faster
I see nothing everything fades
There is no coming back
