An Unpleasant Experience Poem by Ishrat khan

An Unpleasant Experience

Rating: 5.0

Midst of the night while I was sleeping
I was half asleep and half awake
Suddenly I saw someone coming towards me
He held a weapon that was similar to vampire stake

He was all black I saw and couldn't identify
While I was fearing inside and out
He looked human; gazed at me with the evil eye
'Bismillah I only fear Allah' was my constant shout

As he cringed away from the blow
He could not reach to attack me
Inside my room he was roaming to and fro
And I recited some surah to make him flee

I realized he was a bad jinn who failed to possess me
He wanted to harm me desperately to make himself empower
He was cursed with huge inferiority complex; indeed he is our enemy!
He shrank and disappeared as I recited some adhkaar
